For anyone interested in an MCSA training program, it's important to realise that companies offer quite diverse courses; some work and some don't. You will find a selection of programs, whether you're new to the industry, or have a certain amount of knowledge but are looking to formalise your skills with certification. For someone just entering the IT industry, it could be appropriate to pick up some skills ahead of having a go at the first of the four Microsoft Certified Professional exams (MCP's) that are necessary to gain MCSA certification. Look for a company that will design a course to suit your needs - one who will work with you to ensure that you've selected your options carefully.

Your training program should always include the most up to date Microsoft (or Cisco, CompTIA etc.) authorised exam preparation and simulation materials. Students regularly can get confused by trying to prepare themselves with questions that aren't recognised by the authorised examining boards. It's not uncommon that the way questions are phrased is startlingly different and it's vital that you know this. As you can imagine, it's essential to make sure you're completely ready for your actual certification exam prior to doing it. Most of us would love to think that our careers will remain safe and our work futures are protected, but the likely scenario for most jobs in the UK right now is that security may be a thing of the past. The most recent UK e-Skills survey brought to light that 26 percent of all IT positions available haven't been filled due to a huge deficit of well-trained staff. Meaning that for every four jobs available in the computer industry, there are only 3 trained people to fulfil that role. This worrying certainty clearly demonstrates the requirement for more appropriately certified computing professionals around the country. It's unlikely if a better time or market settings is ever likely to exist for acquiring training in this quickly emerging and blossoming market.
